Nicole Fried, M. Ed, BCBA, LBA

Clinical Director, Blue Jay ABA

Nicole oversees all clinical services. With a Master’s in Education from Daemen College and her BCBA certification from the Florida Institute of Technology, she ensures every Blue Jay ABA treatment plan is grounded in evidence-based practice, tailored to your child’s real environment, not a clinic version of it.

Danielle Maroff, M.Ed, BCBA, LBA

Assistant Clinical Director, NC

Danielle is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Assistant Clinical Director at Blue Jay ABA. She holds a Master’s degree in Education with a focus in Special Education and began her career as a special education teacher in New York, where she spent many years supporting children with diverse learning, developmental, and behavioral needs.

Her experience in the classroom inspired her to further her education and pursue certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. Since becoming a BCBA, Danielle has remained deeply passionate about helping children build meaningful skills, supporting families through challenges, and collaborating with therapists and other professionals to provide individualized, compassionate, and effective care.

Danielle values building strong relationships with the children, families, and professionals she works with and believes that meaningful progress is best achieved through collaboration, consistency, and an understanding of each child as an individual. In her role at Blue Jay ABA, she enjoys mentoring and supporting therapists and fellow clinicians, problem-solving complex clinical needs, and helping ensure that families receive high-quality, person-centered ABA services.

Danielle began teaching part-time in 2005 and has worked in general and special education since 2010, bringing over 20 years of experience in education, with the last several years focused on special education and Applied Behavior Analysis. Above all, she is passionate about making a positive and lasting difference in the lives of the children and families she serves and is proud to be part of the Blue Jay ABA team.

Hayley Headings, MS, BCBA, LBA

Director of Clinical Operations, NC

Hayley Headings, MS, BCBA, LBA, has worked in the field of behavior analysis for more than eight years and has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2020. She believes effective ABA should never be one size fits all and prioritizes first understanding what is most important to each child and family. Her approach centers on working collaboratively with families to develop meaningful, individualized goals and ensuring that services support the outcomes they want for their child. Hayley values practical, compassionate care and building strong relationships with families, RBTs, and the other professionals supporting each child.
